In this vital role with the YMCA of Northern Alberta, you will be responsible for implementing curriculum that supports the emotional and social development of children. Engaging activities and individualized learning experiences will be your focus, alongside daily interactions with parents to foster communication and community support. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for safety and child care standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement curriculum promoting child development
• Design activities that foster creativity and exploration
• Observe and document behavior for individual learning




• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Communicate progress with parents daily
• Complete administrative responsibilities
• Mentor new Educators in best practices

Requirements:
• Prior experience with children preferred
• In-process Level 1 Child Care Certification
• Standard First Aid & CPR - C certification
• Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• Skilled in tablet and Microsoft Word usage
