In this role, you will work under the guidance of healthcare supervisors to assist clients with daily living tasks. Focused on client-centered care, your responsibilities include encouraging participation in care routines and reporting any changes in clients' conditions. Your insights will be essential in developing effective care plans that align with the diverse needs of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with daily living and health care needs
• Report changes in client condition to the healthcare team
• Foster client motivation and independence in care




• Contribute input to individualized care plans
• Collaborate with families and caregivers for optimal outcomes

Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Health Care Assistant Program
• Current registration with BC Community Health Worker Registry
• Experience with geriatric or palliative care settings
• Valid BC Driver's License required for local travel
• Knowledge of safety practices in client care
