Elevate nursing care with the Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council as a Clinical Nurse Leader, located in Port Alberni or Tofino. Support nurses to deliver culturally safe care throughout Nuu-chah-nulth territories.

As a permanent, full time Clinical Nurse Leader, you will provide nursing guidance based on extensive clinical experience. The role requires a graduate-level nursing degree and at least 10 years of experience, especially within First Nations. You will inspire your team to adopt Nuu-chah-nulth values and maintain a focus on cultural safety and trauma-informed care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor nursing staff through NTC Nursing policies
• Support relational inquiry and reflective practices




• Provide leadership in trauma-informed documentation
• Collaborate with various Health Department teams
• Guide nurses in adhering to professional standards

Requirements:
• Graduate-level Nursing degree essential
• 10+ years of clinical practice with First Nations
• Active BCCNM license required
• Strong leadership and support skills needed
• Valid driver’s license and clean criminal record check
