This 8-week role begins September 1st and focuses on providing barriers to cycling by supporting loan initiatives from the Recreation Hub. Ideal candidates will have a passion for cycling, experience with bike repairs, and a drive to interact positively with the public. Adherence to safety policies and a valid driver’s license are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and manage the bike/e-bike loan program
• Advocate for cycling and active transportation
• Engage positively with community members
• Follow safety policies and regulations
• Promote recreational cycling opportunities
Requirements:
• Proficient in cycling and bike maintenance
• Robust public interaction skills
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Updated Criminal Record Check necessary
• Motivated self-starter with cycling advocacy focus
