Join Lakeridge Health as a Mental Health Social Worker in Oshawa to help children and youth navigate psychiatric challenges. This temporary full time position offers 8-hour shifts focused on providing quality mental health services.

In this role, you will assess and treat young patients with psychiatric disorders, facilitating both individual and group therapies. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving patient care outcomes. Collaboration with other healthcare providers will be essential to enhance continuity in treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive psychosocial assessments and interventions
• Conduct both individual and family therapy sessions
• Facilitate one to two outpatient therapy groups weekly




• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams for patient care
• Contribute to program committees for service improvement

Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field
• At least 2 years in clinical psychiatric care
• Certification/membership in OCSWSSW or CRPO
• Proven skills in crisis management and team collaboration
• Must be available for site travel as needed
