Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, your mission will be to handle payroll for over 270 employees while also leading enhancements to payroll systems. Your skills in managing benefits programs and government remittances will be crucial in this position. The role requires a proactive approach to addressing employee inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process bi-weekly payroll for 70+ hourly employees
• Oversee health and benefits program management
• Maintain records for year-end tax slips
• Provide prompt support for payroll inquiries
• Ensure payroll records are accurate and compliant
Requirements:
• 5-10 years of experience in end-to-end payroll
• Certification as Payroll Compliance Practitioner needed
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to handle confidential information is essential
