Collaborating closely with MINES and community leadership, you will focus on incorporating Indigenous practices into health strategies. This role emphasizes building trust within L’nu communities and fostering their health service capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build relationships with L’nu communities and organizations
• Initiate research projects integrating L’nu health knowledge
• Promote health professions among Mi’kmaw students
• Partner with MINES to enhance health education
• Track and report on initiatives annually
Requirements:
• Must be of L’nu descent with community ties
• Demonstrated health expertise and cultural competence
• Undergraduate degree or higher in a health-related field
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for enhancing community health and wellness
