Extendicare is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR strategies for our ParaMed division, located in Markham, Ontario. This is a hybrid role tailored for those with a knack for cutting-edge HR practices and continuous improvement.
As the HR Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the employee experience and operationalizing HR strategies with HRBPs. This position is perfect for those who excel in conflict management and have hands-on experience with strategic HR initiatives. You will be entrusted with evaluating trends and proposing solutions that align HR and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with leadership to identify growth opportunities
• Implement strategic HR initiatives and solutions
• Use HR analytics to inform business decisions
• Address escalated employee relations matters
• Coach leaders on change management capabilities
Requirements:
• Degree in Human Resources or related field
• CHRP or CHRL designation is a plus
• 5-7 years of HR experience with supervisory duties
• Knowledge of unionized environments
• Familiarity with Workday preferred
