You will work with the Child and Adolescent Health Unit at the Health Department, providing advisory support and technical leadership. Your focus will be on preventive healthcare practices, engaging local and tribal public health entities, and enhancing access for families. This is a pivotal role in improving health standards statewide.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead statewide educational programs in child health
• Assess and support public health systems in preventive care
• Develop comprehensive resources for child and adolescent health
• Implement quality improvement training for public health agencies
• Stay updated on child health preventive care practices
Requirements:
• At least four years of clinical experience in child health
• Public health nursing experience with adult education
• Registered Nurse license required
• Current registration as a Public Health Nurse
• Experience in community health and system improvements
