Cogir Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Cook with a passion for meaningful work. This role involves the preparation and serving of meals for residents, adhering to therapeutic diets, and ensuring proper food handling techniques. You will also assist in special events meal planning while maintaining a robust focus on quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver meals for residents and staff
• Review menus and production sheets prior to meal prep
• Conduct daily temperature audits for food safety
• Assist in creating therapeutic diet meals
• Participate in planning special meal occasions

Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate required
• Experience in large quantity food prep
• Knowledge of special therapeutic diets
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand long shifts
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check needed
