Mercor is seeking senior design professionals to engage in a paid research study on AI design tooling. Share your expertise in structured remote sessions that illuminate expert design techniques and standards.

In this role, you will either lead interviews or provide insights as an expert participant. This study focuses on capturing how experienced designers tackle problems and define when they believe work is ready for shipping. Each engagement involves approximately 4–5 hours of effort, including prep and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead or participate in interviews discussing design processes
• Articulate ideas on quality and readiness for shipping
• Prepare for sessions with research topics and questions




• Review short summaries of discussions following interviews
• Contribute valuable insights to the AI development process

Requirements:
• Senior-level experience in product, UX, or related design fields
• Explicit stance on design critique and standards
• Accessible portfolio shared via a website
• Comfort with public sharing of non-confidential work
• Adaptability to session scheduling as needed
