Support the Associate Vice-President of MacEwan University in the kihêw waciston Indigenous Centre as an Administrative Assistant. This full time role involves high-level administrative duties and professionalism in handling sensitive matters.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will report directly to the AVP, supporting Indigenous Initiatives and Engagement. Your responsibilities will include scheduling, managing communications, and coordinating special events while promoting a collaborative environment. You will play a significant role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office and serve as a key contact for inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the AVP’s schedule and appointments
• Act as the first point of contact for inquiries




• Plan and coordinate meetings and events
• Maintain organizational practices and documents
• Handle sensitive communications and materials

Requirements:
• Minimum diploma in Office or Business Administration
• Three years of relevant administrative experience
• Knowledge of Indigenous culture and engagement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
