Contract Duration: 4 year

Working Status: In office

Location: CFB Trenton, Astra, Ontario. or at other DND properties within the NCR as required.

Security: Secret Clearance with Controlled goods

Mandatory Criteria

- The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 10 years of experience as an Application / Software Architect.
- The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience within the last 5 years as an Application/Software Architect who must have the following 3 attributes:

1. worked within either a military or a federal government environment; and
2. experience with programming of operating systems, such as Linux and Windows 10 and 11; and
3. utilized Tactical Data Links network components within secure and unsecure environments.

Rated Criteria

- The Bidder should demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 3 years of experience within the last 5 years in developing technical architecture, frameworks and strategies, either for a federal government organization or for a major commercial vendor.

- The Bidder should demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 5 years of experience in installing or coordinating the installation of the following:

1. network hardware,
2. software for use with personal computers,
3. mainframe/personal computer interaction, and
4. network upgrades according to vendor instructions.





- The Bidder should demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 5 years of experience in configuring equipment with assistance from the vendor or other computing resources.
- The Bidder should demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 5 years of experience in;

1. maintaining accurate records and logs of users,
2. equipment serial numbers, service records,
3. maintenance agreements, warranties, wiring schemes, and
4. network problems and solutions.

- The Bidder should demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 5 years of experience in resolving connectivity and internal technical problems.
- The Bidder should demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 5 years of experience in assisting in training users to use the network and related software.
- The Bidder should demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 5 years of experience in preparing work plans, schedules and progress reports*.
- Experience in preparing progress reports includes summarizing work completed to date, planned work and the identification of any problems, risks, or impediments to successful task completion.

- The Bidder should demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 5 years of experience in;

1. coordinating installation, operation, maintenance, resolution of hardware and software problems,
2. monitoring of traffic, capacity planning,
3. implementing, testing a network disaster recovery plan, and
4. user training for Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks.
