The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for supporting and maintaining the daily operations of the warehouse. This includes handling shipping and receiving, picking and packing orders, picking production lists, and general upkeep of the warehouse space. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to lift heavy objects, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently.

Report to: Warehouse Manager

Core Duties and Responsibilities

- Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders and packing slips
- Inspecting goods for possible damage and discrepancies with packing slip
- Moving and organizing skids of finished goods and raw materials
- Labeling and storing ingredients, materials and products in designated locations including allergens and quarantine
- Picking and packing orders according to customer requirements and company protocol
- Picking and processing Production lists
- Keeping the workspace clean and organized in accordance with Company procedures
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks and containers
- Complete shipping and receiving documents accurately
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely
- Follow all workplace safety and hygiene protocols




- Aiding/assisting other departments if necessary
- Other duties assigned by manager

Additional Information While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
- Walk, stand for extended periods of time
- Wear appropriate safety equipment, as instructed

Majority of work time will be spent in production and warehouse where:
- Temperatures can vary between cool and hot depending on the process and weather
- Noise level can be moderate
- Position is exposed to small particles, allergens and odors
- Position is required to wear common protective and/or safety gear, i.e. lab coats, gloves, face mask, hairnet, etc.

Requirements
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs (25kg)
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods

Pay: $20.00 per hour
