Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator

We are recruiting an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator for an established and growing organization in North York. This role is responsible for coordinating the daily movement of inventory throughout the supply chain while supporting safe, accurate and efficient warehouse operations. The successful candidate, with 3 to 5 years experience, will manage inbound and outbound shipments, transportation, inventory accuracy, shipping documentation and logistics-related customer service.

Key responsibilities:

- Arrange domestic and international transportation
- Obtain freight quotations and select carriers based on cost, service and transit time
- Prepare Bills of Lading, packing slips, commercial invoices, customs documentation and Certificates of Origin
- Track shipments and resolve delays, damages, shortages and freight claims
- Coordinate expedited shipments when required
- Monitor carrier performance and freight costs
- Maintain accurate inventory records and identify potential shortages
- Coordinate replenishment activities with Purchasing
- Work with suppliers to coordinate inbound shipments and resolve receiving discrepancies
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving and ERP records
- Support warehouse optimization, continuous improvement and logistics cost-reduction initiatives
- Promote protected loading,



unloading and material-handling practices

Qualifications:

- Three to five years of warehouse and logistics coordination experience, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments
- Knowledge of freight management and customs documentation
- Strong understanding of inventory control, shipping, receiving and warehouse operations
- Experience with an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Flute or a comparable platform
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
- Strong knowledge of the GTA and Southern Ontario
- Excellent planning, communication, customer-service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately in a fast-paced workplace
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. and work in both office and warehouse settings
- Post-secondary education in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
