Velets Furniture, a growing Canadian furniture and home goods company, is looking for a reliable, organized, and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in Richmond, BC.

The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory management, receiving, shipping, order preparation, staff coordination, and warehouse organization. The ideal candidate has robust leadership skills, is comfortable working in a fast-paced furniture environment, and can manage both day-to-day operations and a small warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations in Richmond, BC.
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff and delivery team members.
- Receive incoming furniture shipments and verify quantities and product condition.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure products are easily accessible.
- Coordinate loading and unloading of trucks and shipping containers.
- Prepare customer orders for delivery and in-store pickup.
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages, damages, and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular inventory counts.
- Coordinate with the sales, customer service, purchasing, and facebook teams.
- Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of furniture and home goods.
- Help coordinate local deliveries and driver schedules when required.
- Manage warehouse equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Assist with receiving and organizing large container shipments.
- Train and guide warehouse employees on proper procedures and safe handling.
- Support other operational tasks as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse management, warehouse supervision, inventory management.
- Experience managing or supervising a warehouse team is preferred.
- Experience in the furniture, retail, logistics,



or home goods industry is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving furniture and other items weighing approximately 60–70 lbs.
- Basic computer and smartphone skills.
- Experience with inventory management systems or spreadsheets is an asset.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, punctual, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's licence is an asset.
