Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Shipper to join our warehouse team. The Shipper will be responsible for preparing, organizing, and processing outgoing shipments while ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.

The ideal candidate will have previous shipping and warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and experience operating a counterbalance forklift. The ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy and safety standards is essential.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and process outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify products, quantities, labels, and shipping documentation prior to shipment.
- Load and unload trailers safely using a counterbalance forklift.
- Operate a counterbalance forklift to move and position products throughout the warehouse.
- Ensure shipments are properly wrapped, secured, labelled, and staged for delivery.
- Receive and verify incoming and outgoing products as required.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and management to ensure shipments are completed on schedule.
- Inspect products and shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues to management.
- Maintain an organized and clean shipping area.
- Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and warehouse rules.
- Follow proper material-handling and forklift safety procedures.
- Perform other warehouse and shipping duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements





- Previous shipping experience is required.
- Counterbalance forklift experience and certification are required.
- Experience working with bills of lading, packing slips, and other shipping documentation.
- Experience loading and unloading trailers.
- Experience preparing shipping documentation and verifying orders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following company procedures.

+ Working Conditions

- MULTIPLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE
- Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM OR 8:00AM - 4:00PM
- Occasional overtime may be required based on operational needs
- Warehouse environment with exposure to noise, temperature variations, and physically demanding tasks
- Requires standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motions for extended periods
- warehouse environment, including varying temperatures and noise levels.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Experience:
- Warehouse Shipper: 2 years (required)
- Raymond Narrow Aisle Reach Truck: 1 year (preferred)
- Counterbalance Forklift: 2 years (required)
