FULL-TIME WARRANTY SHIPPER/RECEIVER POSITION - METRO TRUCK GROUP, STONEY CREEK LOCATION

As our trusted brand continues to evolve, the Warranty Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for coordinating the shipping and receiving of warranty parts across all branches.

This position is responsible for coordinating warranty parts, receiving shipments, and returns, and maintaining accurate inventory and shipping records in the Warranty Department. This position could lead to advancement to the Warranty Administrator position in the future.

Position duties include, but are not limited to:

- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming warranty parts and shipments.
- Prepare and package warranty parts for return to suppliers and manufacturers.
- Process warranty returns, exchanges, and shipments according to company procedures.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, and warranty documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding warranty claims, parts, credits, and returns.
- Verify packing slips, purchase orders, and shipment contents for accuracy.
- Arrange courier and freight shipments and track outgoing and incoming packages.
- Label and organize warranty parts to ensure proper identification and timely processing.
- Stay up to date with the latest warranty policies, procedures, and guidelines provided by manufacturers. Ensure dealership compliance with these guidelines and address any areas of non-compliance promptly.




- Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, parts department staff, and other dealership personnel to ensure efficient and regarding warranty items
- Perform work with safety as a priority and abiding by all safety policies and standards set out by the Metro Truck Group of Companies
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as set out by the Metro Truck Group of companies
- Uphold robust communication, organization and time management skills; ability to interact effectively with customers and all levels of staff
- General housekeeping duties
- All other responsibilities as assigned

Education & Qualifications:

- Refined time management skills, ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Demonstrate effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills
- Computer literacy, and familiarity with Windows and Microsoft programs
- While performing the duties of this Job, include requirements to stand; walk; bend; lift
- Lifting of up to 80 lbs.
- DMS knowledge an asset
- Automotive/heavy truck parts knowledge an asset
- Canadian and US Customs knowledge an asset.
