In this role, you'll work alongside a Lead Early Childhood Educator within the Pre-primary Program, fostering a secure atmosphere that promotes social interaction and knowledge exploration. Your expertise in child development will play a pivotal role in maintaining high educational standards and delivering quality early learning as per the Nova Scotia Early Learning Curriculum Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work cooperatively with the Lead Early Childhood Educator.
• Create and maintain inclusive learning environments.
• Implement developmentally appropriate assessment strategies.
• Translate theoretical knowledge into practical activities.
• Collaborate with families from diverse backgrounds.
Requirements:
• Completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• At least three years’ experience with preschool age children.
• Knowledge of play-based pedagogy.
• Effective communication skills essential.
• Valid Standard First Aid certification.
