Enhance student success as a Pathways Student Family Advocate, supporting families in the STC Pathways to Education after-school program. Your role involves relationship building and effective parental engagement.

Reporting directly to the Pathways to Education Manager, you will work closely with the STC team to address challenges faced by students. Your goal is to ensure parents and guardians are registered and informed about the secondary school system. Ongoing communication and advocacy are key parts of this position, aimed at fostering student achievement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Foster relationships between students and their families
• Assist parents/guardians in program registration
• Identify and address student challenges collaboratively




• Maintain ongoing communication with families
• Support parents in interacting with educators and administrators

Requirements:
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills
• Experience in educational support services
• Knowledge of secondary education systems
• Robust relationship-building abilities
• Capacity to work effectively with diverse families
