As a vital member of the interdisciplinary care team, the Companion provides hands-on support to seniors in a continuing care workplace. You will assist with personal care, daily routines, and mobility while promoting independence and dignity. Building positive relationships is key to encouraging emotional well-being among residents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with grooming, bathing, and dressing activities
• Safely escort residents throughout the community as needed
• Provide meal service and feeding assistance during mealtimes




• Encourage independence while delivering compassionate care
• Maintain clean and safe resident environments through light housekeeping

Requirements:
• Passion for working with seniors and their well-being
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and respectfulness in resident interactions
• Current enrollment in a Health Care Aide program is an asset
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 20 kg
