Gwillimdale Farms needs a DZ Driver for the harvesting function. This short-term role, lasting 6 to 8 weeks, requires a self-starter with a valid DZ Driver’s License and past farm experience. Candidates must be adaptable and have a versatile schedule, with work hours varying throughout the week based on harvest needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate trucks safely and efficiently during the harvest
• Drive in correlation with harvest machinery for efficiency
• Conduct vehicle and tractor-trailer inspections for safety
• Perform preventative maintenance on your assigned vehicle
• Adapt to varying work requirements based on harvest
Requirements:
• Valid DZ license with a minimum of 3 years experience
• Clean Driver’s Abstract with no violations
• Heavy equipment operation experience is a plus
• Proficient in driving an 18 speed manual transmission
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and adapt physically
