What are your contributions to the team? Demonstrate strong knowledge of technical investigations conducted for suppliers, both internal and external to the manufacturing site
Lead problem-solving efforts with after-market support teams
Implement technical product improvements on manufacturing lines based on after-market feedback
Provide senior management visibility regarding supplier quality performance
Be responsible for coordinating quality support for production teams
Assume full responsibility for team management
Plan daily operations for your sector and follow up on them
Report on and analyze various indicators related to productivity, quality, health and safety, absenteeism, etc.
Resolve problems efficiently and in a timely manner
Maintain communication with other departments regarding issues related to your sector
Ensure continuous improvement using operational excellence concepts and problem-solving processes
Ensure employee training, and evaluate their performance and progress
Coach your team to develop talent within the organization
Promote a work environment based on teamwork and open communication
Demonstrate leadership while respecting Bombardier's vision and values
How to thrive in this role? You have a bachelors degree in engineering or industrial engineering, or a college diploma combined with several years of experience in quality management
You have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a management role
You have excellent skills in quality management
You demonstrate good judgment and flexibility, are results-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision, and comfortable with tight deadlines
You show solid initiative and are ready to work with a high-performing team
You have strong organizational skills and solid technical knowledge
You have excellent communication and leadership abilities
You are able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
You have good communication skills in both English and French (bilingualism is an asset)
