Join SMCDSB as a Designated Early Childhood Educator, dedicated to executing comprehensive early learning programs within a Catholic educational context. This role focuses on teamwork and curriculum implementation every school day.

In partnership with the classroom teacher, you will plan engaging activities that support Catholic faith initiatives. This 10-month position operates Monday to Friday for 7 hours each day and demands a robust childcare experience. Your ongoing commitment to children's education is fundamental to their growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with teachers to deliver a full day program
• Provide supervision for students during activities
• Design age-appropriate and faith-focused programs




• Handle classroom management and emergency situations
• Communicate sensitively with parents and children

Requirements:
• Hold a two-year Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Registered with The College of Early Childhood Educators
• Childcare experience of at least six months
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates
• Ability to create organized plans for educational activities
