Job Overview COMPANY PROFILE Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.
Summary The Millwright is involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This work may exist indoors or outdoors and may be physically demanding.
Location Location: CNRL Maintenance (Fort McMurray AB)
Anticipated Start Date: August 27, 2026
Shift: 7&7 days
Accommodation: Camp available
Pay Hourly Rate: $53.56 (Exclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, pension, and education and training)
Job Duties Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S; standards
Read diagrams, blueprints, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery or parts
Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attached motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances
Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings
May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Registered Millwright journeyman
Previous Site experience is an asset
Previous industrial experience considered an asset
CSO Regional ticket
Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
Able to work well in a team environment
Organized and self-motivated
Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a condition of employment
