Support Indigenous youth as a Medical Office Assistant at UNYA's Native Youth Health and Wellness Centre. This role is focused on administrative coordination and community engagement.
As a full-time Medical Office Assistant, you will work closely with youth and their families, ensuring access to health resources and a culturally responsive workplace. With your background in office administration, you will oversee daily operations, facilitate appointments, and assist with essential data collection for health programs. Your organizational skills will play a vital role in enhancing youth services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage appointments and client intake for health services
• Coordinate daily operations of the clinic
• Engage in community outreach to promote health services
• Build partnerships with health practitioners
• Assist in compiling reports and statistics
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in office administration roles
• Experience working with Indigenous communities
• Proficient in EMR systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong skills in communication and organization
• Must complete a criminal record check and be vaccinated
