UBC is looking for a dedicated part time Research Assistant to join the Murray Lab, focusing on women's health research related to infectious diseases. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence health outcomes.

As a Research Assistant at the University of British Columbia, you will work under the supervision of Dr. Melanie Murray, contributing approximately 20 hours a week. Your responsibilities will include data entry, support for ethics documentation, and collaboration on significant health studies, particularly the HPV Anal Screening Guidelines. This role is crucial to advancing studies at BC Women’s Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
• Enter data and manage research records
• Develop and review data collection forms




• Prepare submissions for ethics approval and project proposals
• Organize and facilitate project meetings
• Assist with basic literature reviews related to projects

Requirements:
• Completion of high school plus 1 year research experience
• Ability to work respectfully with diverse populations
• Proficiency in MS Office applications is preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience with REDCap databases is a plus
