CarePros is seeking a Lead Child and Youth Care Worker who will support youths in achieving their goals. This role will allow you to demonstrate your expertise in trauma-informed care, mentoring, and relationship-building with youth facing complex behavioral and mental health challenges. Your contributions will be vital to the teams’ success as you work closely with program supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide daily updates to Program Supervisor and Manager
• Report critical incidents to Program Supervisor
• Support youths in achieving their personal goals
• Maintain activity and service records consistently
• Compile case data for stakeholder reporting
Requirements:
• Minimum one year experience with complex behavioral youth
• Robust knowledge of mental health care best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant post-secondary education in Youth Care or Social Work preferred
• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License and reliable vehicle
