Company Description The Florida Cryptocurrency and Alternative Assets Club (FCAAC) is a student-run organization at the University of Florida that introduces students to cryptocurrency, alternative assets, and blockchain technology. As a new club focused on the full spectrum of crypto and blockchain topics, FCAAC creates space for investors, curious learners, and those seeking professional exposure to this evolving field. The club promotes understanding through bi-weekly meetings, conferences, research and development initiatives, social events, and talks from guest speakers.

Role Description

We are hiring a Web3 Fund Associate to support fund research, digital asset analysis, portfolio intelligence, and investment-focused reporting across Web3 and cryptocurrency markets. This is a full-time, paid remote role based in Canada focused on Web3 fund strategy, crypto markets, digital asset research, portfolio analysis, and blockchain finance.

The Web3 Fund Associate will monitor Web3 markets, research investment opportunities, support fund and portfolio strategy, and prepare market intelligence materials across cryptocurrencies, DeFi protocols, tokenized assets, stablecoins, blockchain infrastructure, and crypto-native financial products. This role is ideal for someone with strong interest in Web3 investing, digital assets, fund research, portfolio strategy,



and emerging financial technology.

Responsibilities

- Research Web3 markets, cryptocurrency assets, token ecosystems, DeFi protocols, stablecoins, blockchain infrastructure, and digital asset investment opportunities
- Monitor token performance, liquidity conditions, capital flows, volatility, investor sentiment, market cycles, and on-chain ecosystem developments
- Support fund research, portfolio analysis, allocation review, risk awareness, and opportunity evaluation across crypto markets
- Prepare investment research notes, market intelligence updates, fund summaries, portfolio briefs, and digital asset reports
- Track developments across crypto exchanges, DeFi platforms, Web3 startups, venture activity, regulatory updates, institutional adoption, and macro market conditions
- Evaluate opportunities across DeFi, tokenized assets, Web3 infrastructure, stablecoins, protocols, layer-1 and layer-2 networks, and crypto-native products
- Collaborate with team members on fund research, portfolio analysis, investment strategy, market intelligence, and digital asset projects
- Maintain organized research files, market trackers, opportunity pipelines, token watchlists, fund notes, and Web3 intelligence resources

Qualifications

- Solid interest in Web3 investing, cryptocurrency markets,



digital assets, fund research, DeFi, stablecoins, and tokenized finance
- Familiarity with investment research, crypto markets, portfolio analysis, token analysis, blockchain networks, or digital asset ecosystems
- Understanding of liquidity, capital flows, token sectors, volatility, market cycles, investor sentiment, portfolio exposure, and financial market concepts
- Familiarity with blockchain explorers, crypto analytics tools, DeFi dashboards, TradingView, portfolio tools, market data platforms, or investment research tools is a plus
- Strong research, analytical, organizational, communication, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to explain Web3 market trends, investment themes, digital asset risks, and portfolio opportunities clearly
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while managing multiple research and analysis priorities
- Previous experience in investment research, crypto research, fintech, financial markets, portfolio analysis, asset management, venture research, or Web3 projects is helpful

Compensation

Salary range: CAD105,000 - CAD120,000 per year depending on experience
