Weekend / On-Call Security Guard

KAMA Integrated Services Inc. – Downtown Oshawa, ON

KAMA Integrated Services Inc., a company specialized in building and facility services, is currently seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard for a commercial property located in Downtown Oshawa.

This position is ideal for individuals who are confident working independently, comfortable handling challenging situations, and committed to maintaining a safe and skilled environment for tenants, visitors, and staff.

Position Type:

- Day shifts (approximately 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- Weekend shifts
- On-call coverage
- Potential for additional full time hours in the future based on operational needs

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and secure the property and surrounding areas
- Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to oversee activity across the premises
- Respond professionally to incidents and disturbances
- Maintain daily activity and incident reports
- Support tenants and building operations when required
- Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site policies

Requirements:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License




- Valid First Aid/CPR certification
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Comfortable working in an active downtown environment
- Access to a reliable vehicle is strongly preferred due to operational requirements
- Applicants residing in Oshawa or the Durham Region are preferred
- Previous commercial security experience is considered an asset
