We value mechanically inclined problem-solvers who take pride in laying clean welds, holding precise tolerances, and finding innovative ways to tackle customer challenges. Because of the custom nature of our work, advanced fitting skills and blueprint reading are absolutely critical to success in this role. You will be working directly from detailed mechanical drawings generated in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Weld and fit a variety of custom, heavy-duty industrial metal products.
- Read, interpret, and build accurately from complex mechanical drawings and welding specifications.
- Set up and operate industrial fabrication machinery, including ironworkers, drill presses, and cutting equipment.

- Proven experience in structural steel MIG welding and custom fabrication.
- Exceptional fitting abilities and a high level of proficiency in reading technical blueprints (this is non-negotiable).
- Mechanically inclined with a sharp eye for detail and problem-solving.
- Comfortable working both independently and alongside a team.
- CWB certification is highly preferred.
- Previous forklift experience is considered an asset.
The Interview Process: To ensure we maintain our high standards of quality, the interview process will include a practical MIG welding and fitting test to assess your blueprint reading and fabrication accuracy. Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay: $28.00 – $34.00 per hour (Compensation will be based strictly on experience, fitting capability, and test performance).
