Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator for small fabrication projects and repair work.

Duties

- Perform MIG and SMAW welding to join metal parts securely, ensuring robust, durable welds.

- Use plasma cutting tools and press brake machines to shape and bend metal sheets according to specifications.

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment such as calipers, schematics, and measuring devices to ensure precise fabrication.

- Conduct rigging tasks for lifting and positioning heavy materials or assemblies using cranes or forklifts safely.

- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols related to welding, fabrication, and construction environments.Requirements

- Proven experience in welding (MIG and SMAW)



along with mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes.

- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.

- Familiarity with plasma cutting, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and plate rolls as well as aluminum welding are an asset.

- Knowledge of rigging techniques, crane operation, forklift handling, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

- Ability to work safely with welding equipment and adhere to all safety regulations at all times.

Pay: $38.00-$44.00 per hour
