Fab-Con is hiring a Welder / Yard Worker for full-time work in Oakville.

We are looking for someone who can show up on time, work hard, follow direction, and handle a full day’s work without needing to be chased around. This is a physical, hands-on role working with steel shipping containers in an outdoor yard year-round.

You will be helping with welding, cutting, fitting, grinding, repairs, container modifications, forklift work, and whatever else is needed to keep the yard and shop running properly.

Job Duties:

- MIG welding, cutting, fitting, and grinding steel
- Assisting with repairs and modifications to steel shipping containers
- Installing man doors, windows, and other components
- Supporting the lead welder with daily fabrication work
- Offloading parts and materials with a forklift
- Operating a larger forklift or telehandler if capable
- General yard work, cleanup, and other labour duties as needed

What We Need:

- Welding and fabrication experience
- Ideally 3+ years of hands-on experience
- Someone who is dependable, physically capable, and willing to work
- Comfortable working outdoors through all seasons




- Forklift experience is an asset
- Telehandler experience is an asset
- Ability to take direction, stay productive, and work safely

This is not a sit-around job. We need someone who is reliable, works steady, and takes pride in doing solid work.
