PRODUCTION LINE WELDER

Duties

- Cut aluminum and/or steel materials as required, or utilize pre-cut materials for loading into fixtures.
- Weld trailer frames and assemblies using cut sheets, production drawings and/or engineering drawings to meet specifications.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
- Assess welded surfaces & structures for quality and to identify errors.
- Maintain task & process efficiencies per production scheduling guidelines.
- Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature, and maintain welding equipment. Advise supervisor of any performance or safety issues with area or equipment.
- Follow safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
- Assist with trailer assembly as required.
- Identify and advise supervisor of any potential task or process improvements
- Clean up work area regularly.

Requirements

- Previous welding training or experience is required.
- Possibility of shift work.

Pay: $19.00-$29.00 per hour
