Winter Internship - Private Investments - Infrastructure, Toronto The Team
This position will be working in our Toronto office within the PrivateInfrastructure business of CBRE Investment Management. The PrivateInfrastructure team creates long-term value for its fund and separate accountclients by sourcing, acquiring and managing high-quality investments andbuilding comprehensive infrastructure portfolios. Today the dedicated team ofover 70 professionals in Toronto, London, and Sydney invest approximatelyUS$10.4 billion on behalf of institutional investors globally.
The Role
We are looking to fill a winter internshipposition to work on our investments team on a variety of private marketsresearch and investment activities. Working closely with all levels of theinvestment team, you will play an important role supporting a versatile team inmaking global investment decisions.
You will get involved in conductingindustry research, assisting with the preparation of investmentrecommendations, conducting analysis and due diligence of direct investments,co-investments and fund investments.
Qualifications
- Candidates in their third, or fourth year of studies in Commerce, Finance or Business Administration, or in a related Master’s program, with a robust academic record.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, intellectual agility and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong skill-set in financial modeling, valuation and analytics
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Further, you are an ambitious self-starter, a solid team player with a positive attitude and possess high professional and ethical standards.
- You endeavour to perform work beyond what is required at your level and are willing to “roll up your sleeves” in an entrepreneurial environment to get work done as necessary.
- You have a demonstrated ability to be resourceful and persistent in gathering and assessing information and to quickly assimilate knowledge.

CBRE Investment Management carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $65,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $65,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
