In this vital role, you will engage in numerous responsibilities that uphold the security and operations of the prison. Tasks include patrol duties, visitor management, monitoring communications, and participating in emergency protocols. You become the frontline in ensuring prisoner and staff safety throughout your shifts, contributing to a cohesive team setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee staff and vehicle entry/exit protocols
• Monitor CCTV for any suspicious activities
• Escort and manage visitors during appointments
• Track and report contraband through mail logs
• Ensure security of prisoners overnight

Requirements:
• Willingness to work variable shifts, including nights
• Previous experience in security highly valued
• Effective communicator in English or Welsh
• Ability to respond to emergencies and follow guidelines
• Willingness to embrace the challenges of prison work
