Senior Credit Operations Leader What if your next credit leadership role wasnt just about approving decisions but about making the entire credit operation work better? We are partnering with an established BC-based organization to looking for a senior Credit leader to take ownership of both the strategic and operational sides of its Credit function.
This is an prospect for someone who still enjoys understanding the work, developing people and solving operational problems in a hands on capacity.
The Opportunity You will provide leadership across credit operations , working closely with senior leadership and adjacent business functions.
The organization has been evolving its Credit structure and is looking for a leader who can bring clarity, consistency, and practical improvement to the function.
You will have room to shape how the team operates whilst being willing to roll up your sleeves.
That could mean understanding a process firsthand, stepping in when the team needs support, coaching a manager through a performance issue,
reviewing how work is being allocated or identifying where technology and process changes could eliminate outdated processes.
What You Will Do Lead Credit Operations across a large portfolio.
Provide senior-level guidance on credit decisions, processes and operational priorities.
Work closely with Growth, IT, Finance and executive leadership.
Assess existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and service.
Lead, coach and develop credit professionals and support staff.
Manage performance, accountability and workforce planning.
Ensure appropriate coverage and continuity across the function.
Review reporting and operational information and translate it into practical recommendations.
Participate in broader organizational initiatives and strategic decision-making.
Step into the details when required to understand problems and help the team solve them.
