- You take ownership of the systems you manage
- You're hands-on, curious, and naturally inclined to ask: “How can we make this work better?”

- Support and troubleshoot VMware and/or Hyper-V environments, including virtual machine deployment, configuration, maintenance, and performance
- Monitor infrastructure, identify potential issues proactively, and respond to system alerts and performance concerns
- Manage and troubleshoot backup and recovery processes, investigate backup failures, and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity issues involving TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies
- Provide escalation-level support for complex systems and infrastructure issues
- Support endpoint, hardware, and software deployments across the organization
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, technology deployments, and other IT projects
- Apply security best practices across systems, access, patching, configuration, and infrastructure management
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, procedures, and operational runbooks
- Work with technology vendors and internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve infrastructure issues
- Identify opportunities to improve the reliability, security, performance, and efficiency of the IT environment
⭐ What We're Looking For (Our Wishlist):
- 3+ years of experience in Systems Administration or a closely related infrastructure role, with hands-on responsibility for supporting production IT environments
- Proven experience administering Windows Server environments, including configuration, patching, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance
- Strong experience with Active Directory and Group Policy, including user and group administration, permissions, organizational units, and policy-based configuration

- Strong Power Shell skills, with experience developing and maintaining scripts to automate administration, provisioning, monitoring, reporting, and repetitive operational tasks
- Hands-on experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V, including virtual machine provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting backup and recovery environments, including monitoring backup jobs, investigating failures, performing restores, and contributing to disaster recovery processes
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, with experience troubleshooting TCP/IP, VPN, firewall, and infrastructure connectivity issues
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and system maintenance, with the ability to identify and address performance, availability, and capacity issues proactively
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills,
with the ability to investigate complex issues across multiple systems and drive them through to resolution
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure security practices, including access control, patch management, secure configuration, and system hardening
- Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to maintain technical documentation and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Azure/AWS, Linux, SCCM, Ansible, or multi-site infrastructure is considered an asset
