Oldcastle seeks an experienced Millwright certified with an interprovincial red seal to perform a variety of mechanical tasks. This role involves installing and maintaining production equipment, solving various mechanical issues, and performing general repairs within the plant.
Your experience in welding, fabrication, and general maintenance will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair special-purpose machines and production equipment
- Execute welding and repair tasks as required
- Utilize hand and power tools for maintenance activities
- Conduct general repairs on plant facilities
- Diagnose machinery issues and coordinate repair solutions
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 years’ experience as a Red Seal Millwright
- Capability to lift machinery parts and tools weighing up to 60 pounds
- Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting
- Ensure safety and maintenance standards are upheld
