Doman Building Materials Group Ltd. is looking for a Corporate Counsel in Vancouver, BC. This full time, on-site role provides legal support in governance, compliance, and various commercial matters.

Working directly with senior management and under the General Counsel, you will be instrumental in areas like litigation management, environmental law, and corporate governance. Your strong analytical skills and business-oriented legal advice will be crucial in mitigating risks and shaping company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct securities filings and ensure compliance for governance
- Lead negotiations and due diligence for acquisitions
- Draft and revise commercial agreements across divisions
- Provide guidance on employment and labor law matters
- Develop efficient legal processes and templates

Requirements:

- 3 to 7 years’ experience in corporate and commercial law
- Strong drafting, organizational, and analytical capabilities
- Understanding of public company requirements
- Background in wholesale distribution or multi-site operations advantageous
- J.D., LL.B. or equivalent, and licensed in Canada
