Lead impactful health programs for Métis communities as a Manager of Health Promotion Initiatives with Métis Nation–Saskatchewan. Oversee community engagement and service coordination for improved health outcomes.
In this full-time role, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Health, Mental Health, and Addictions. Responsibilities include managing key programs like the Canada Tobacco Strategy, mentoring staff, and fostering relationships with health partners.
Your leadership will be vital in addressing community health issues and ensuring program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct daily operations of health promotion initiatives
- Create and update program workplans and budgets
- Foster partnerships within the healthcare community
- Maintain compliance with confidentiality requirements
- Submit detailed program statistics and reports
Requirements:
- Relevant education in community health or Indigenous studies
- 3-5 years experience in health research settings
- Robust problem-solving and time management skills
- Experience with strategic planning and budget management
- Valid driver's license and transportation access
