In your role with the Energy and Resources team, you'll lead the design and analysis of heavy industrial structures. Engage with clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions while mentoring junior engineers. Your hands-on experience will be crucial in executing projects safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and adhere to Stantec Safety Culture
- Analyze and design structures per applicable codes
- Produce designs using hand calculations and software
- Interface with project management and other disciplines
- Actively mentor EITs and support your own development
Requirements:
- Professional Engineer registration in applicable provinces
- 12-15 years of experience in industrial structural engineering
- Familiarity with mining and underground infrastructure standards
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel for project site visits
