Job Description

AIM is currently seeking aGeneral Labourer for itsMontreal‑East location, working aUnder the supervision of the Supervisor, you will perform various tasks in rotation with your teammates to support daily operations.

Your responsibilities include :

- Sorting different types ofmetals based on their characteristics .
- Inspecting customer metals,identifying the appropriate metal type andverifying quality .
- Weighing metals using thescale .
- Operating various types ofequipment as required (e.g. forklift, loader, Bobcat).




- Actively participating in thedaily activities of the department .
- Maintaining thecleanliness of equipment, work areas, and your workstation to ensure smooth operations.
- Working in asafe manner and complying withhealth and safety policies as well as company procedures.
- Performingany other related tasks required to support operations.

Qualifications

To join Our Team, you must :

- Demonstrate aprofessional and safety‑focused attitude and strictly followhealth and safety guidelines .
- Be ingood physical condition and comfortable performingrepetitive tasks , such as sorting metals on tables or on the ground.
- Showversatility ,resourcefulness , and awillingness to learn .
- Have the ability towork effectively as part of a team and demonstratestrong priority management skills .
- Be able to wear the requiredpersonal protective equipment (PPE) (mask, ear protection, safety glasses, helmet, coveralls).
- Haveknowledge of metals (an asset).
- Haveforklift experience (an asset).
- Bebilingual (an asset).

Additional Information

- Willingness to work in adusty and noisy industrial setting , sometimes outdoors and exposed tovarying temperatures .
- Physically demanding tasks .
