This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to lead stakeholder engagement and influence the evolving UK housing landscape. ABOUT THE COMPANY My client is a leading property business that's investing heavily in marketing, communications and brand as part of an exciting transformation journey You will enjoy an environment where new ideas are welcomed and success is shared, and work alongside corporate communications and political correspondence specialists to build an expert, trusted voice for the industry. ABOUT THE ROLE What you’ll be doing Secure high-level interviews, meetings, and roundtables with politicians, regulators, and key stakeholders across Westminster and devolved governments Build strong relationships with MPs, local authority leaders,
and industry bodies Support the development and delivery of the overarching public affairs and stakeholder engagement strategy Prepare high-quality briefing papers and meeting materials for the senior leadership team Advise internal senior stakeholders and subject matter experts on key public affairs matters Monitor housing policy changes and translate complex regulations into clear communications Navigate critical industry topics including Building Safety, Later Living, Energy Reform, and Commonhold Act as a central bridge between corporate communications, political correspondence, and business teams. ABOUT YOU What we’re looking for Proven public affairs or corporate communications experience gained within an agency, in-house, or political environment Strong understanding of or genuine interest in housing policy, property management, and regulatory developments Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for various audiences Demonstrated experience handling sensitive or politically charged topics within regulated sectors A proactive, autonomous approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and advise at the executive level.
