Home health care worker (Permanent employment)

Full time, 30 to 40 hours per week

Job details

Location: St. Catharines, ON

Salary: $22.00 hourly

Starts as soon as possible

Work on site – no remote option

Work site environment: Non‑smoking

Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live‑in basis (not a condition of employment)

Work setting: employer’s / client’s home

Tasks

Care for an elderly man with a disability. Administer bedside and personal care. Assist with bathing and personal hygiene. Assist with regular exercise (e.g., walk). Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Provide companionship, personal care,



and serve nutritious meals.

Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: An asset

Security & safety: Criminal record check

Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Personal suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, initiative / organized, team player, patience, honesty
