This permanent, full time position reports to the Manager of the Learning Institute. As a Nurse Educator, you will design, implement, and evaluate educational programs for nursing and interprofessional practice. Collaborate with various educators to promote high-quality care through effective teaching methods tailored for both in-person and online environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and assess educational programs focused on critical care • Implement blended learning methods in nursing education • Collaborate with nursing instructors and clinical leaders • Facilitate interprofessional orientation and practice transitions • Evaluate educational effectiveness and learner progression
Requirements: • Bachelor's in Nursing; Master's in related field required • 3 years critical care experience; teaching experience essential • Active nursing license with Nova Scotia Nursing & Midwifery Regulator • Certification in Critical Care and BLS-C required • Ability to utilize various teaching strategies effectively
