Critical Setting Technologies (“CET”) is a leader in the design, manufacture & servicing of gas detection and indoor air quality systems. CET has developed & sells more than 50 different products that are sold in all states & provinces and can be found in more than 20 countries globally. Our transmitters, controllers and self-contained units are installed in commercial HVAC, institutional, municipal and industrial applications including parkades, refrigeration plants, commercial swimming pools, water purification plants, arenas, wineries, breweries, wastewater treatment plans & cannabis production facilities. Role Overview

We are looking for a self-motivated, highly organized individual with robust troubleshooting skills to join our field service team. This full-time position includes traveling to customer sites in the lower mainland and providing onsite installation, repair and calibration services for installed systems, onsite training of end users, writing detailed service reports and collaborating with colleagues at CET.

Responsibilities

- Install and service all types of gas detection & indoor air quality equipment
- Calibrate, troubleshoot & repair customer equipment
- Build strong, durable relationships with key customers
- Maintain knowledge of CETs product-line and suggest recent products & solutions to customers




- Write summary reports at the conclusion of each job
- Interface with engineering suggesting improvements to CET's product-line

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong knowledge and diverse experience in the servicing of commercial electrical products
- Interest in & willingness to learn about gas detection and indoor air quality products
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills
- Great people skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work without supervision
- Comfort using basic Microsoft computer programs such as Excel and Word, etc.
- Driver’s license and a clean driving record

Bonus

- Experience with gas detection, indoor air quality equipment, HVAC, the printing industry, or another similar industry
- Experience selling professional services to facility and property managers

Location

We are situated in Tilbury Industrial Park in Delta, BC. Service calls are generally in the lower mainland.
