- Set up and operate all required manual production processes
- Perform basic problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards
- Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by handheld and/or hand operated equipment
- Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work
- Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems
- Required to train other operators as needed
- May be required to perform other manual operations in other departments
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 diploma
- Mechanical aptitude and dexterity
- Ability to read and interpret production prints
- Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required work
- Candidate must be able to pass Canadian Controlled Goods Assessment and criminal background check and be compliant with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
