Reporting to the Director, Finance, this position will be responsible for all aspects of financial accounting of the mill.What you’ll be accomplishing:Responsible for McClean Joint-Venture (MLJV) full accounting and financial reporting cycle including:Month end accounting and annual audited financial statementsResponding to queries/requests from JV partnersPreparation of the annual operating budget for the McClean JEB Mill in collaboration with the McClean Management Team and monthly review of performanceReviewing inventory provision and accounting for any sale of inventoryTracking purchasing performanceDeveloping and monitoring key performance indicators including operational and financial metricsMinistry of Highways Transportation Partnership Agreement quarterly reporting and annual auditMonthly invoicing for Ammonium Sulphate Sales & Toll Mill FeesAssisting external auditors in the performance of the annual year-end audit workParticipating in operational excellence reporting initiativesPerform other related tasks, as requiredEmbrace, promote, and support Operational Excellence and OE cultureComplies with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and proceduresPromote and adhere to Orano Canada’s values: Safety and Security, Team Spirit and Cohesion, Continuous Improvement, Customer Satisfaction, Ethics, Transparency and Dialogue, Respect and People DevelopmentQualities and skills we’re seeking:Commerce degree and/or 2 years’ accounting training and experience is requiredCPA designation or working towards the CPA designation is an assetHighly proficient with Microsoft ExcelExperience using SAP is an assetExcellent planning and organization skills to coordinate efforts and meet deadlinesExcellent time management skills, analytical skills and able to prioritize work effectivelyStrong oral and written communication skillsCooperative and cooperative, able to work as part of a teamHonest, ethical, and respects confidentialityWork Location & Schedule:Saskatoon Corporate OfficeMonday to Friday, 8:00-4:30; 40 hours/weekTravel to various projects sites is requiredSalary Range:$77,750 - $94,450Compensation to be determined based on the selected candidate’s level of skill, education, and experience, and may vary within, the posted salary range.Benefits and advantages of working with us:Competitive salary and benefits packageA welcoming environment and great co-workersTraining and development opportunitiesFitness equipment available for use on work/camp premisesCareer advancement opportunities, social committee, interesting projects and opportunities to get involved in our strong commitments to communitiesAs a condition of employment the successful candidate must complete Orano’s pre-employment checks including education verification and employment reference checks.Drug (including marijuana)
