As a member of Northwood's SEEDS for Success team, you'll leverage your skills in therapeutic recreation and mental health to make a meaningful difference. This role requires experience in program development, group facilitation, and support group activities. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and facilitate group programming for Creative Expressions • Oversee Gardening Program and manage volunteers • Maintain accurate client records and attendance • Assist with Support Group development for anxiety and depression • Coordinate community Art Drop-in sessions
Requirements: • Diploma in Occupational Therapy Assistant or related fields • 1-2 years relevant experience, ideally in mental health • CPR/First Aid and WHMIS certification • Ability to lift and transfer up to 44lbs • Robust verbal and written communication skills
